Information and Documentation Coordinator

Her extensive background in information processing and management has for the past 10 years, successfully improved the flow of information within the organisation as well as packaging the information for the empowerment of women world wide. Since 2006, she has been responsible for planning and implementing of the organizations documentation processes in Sudan and Liberia. Between 1998 to 2006 she has successfully organised four medical interventions that saw over 3,000 survivors of conflict in Uganda accessing medical redress. She is a member of Uganda Women Caucus on ICTs, the Association of Progressive Communication – Africa Women AAW and an advisor of the Global Fund for Women.

She holds a Bachelor of Library and Information Science degree, and a Post Graduate Certificate in Research Methodology and Report Writing. She has also undertaken several short courses in Communication for social mobilization, Women’s Leadership, Gender, Human Rights and Information and Communication Technologies. She has participated and presented papers in a number of regional and international fora on women’s human rights, armed conflict, and ICTs.
