Resource Centre
Isis-WICCE provides access to a wealth of information through its onsite Resource Centre. It houses a collection of print, audio visual and electronic materials related to women's human rights issues with:
  • Over a 1,000 books on communication and media, information technology, violence against women, armed conflict, human rights, peace building, development, education, history , culture and language, religion and spirituality, law, food security, science and technology and more.
  • Journal titles from Africa, Asia, the Middle East, Europe, Latin America and North America
  • Periodicals from international NGOs, academia and institutions
  • Several feature films and documentaries in VHS, DVDS and CD formats
Researchers and visitors to the Resource Centre can browse the selection of topics and spend time conducting research onsite or sign out the materials for further use. Isis-WICCE provides Resource Centre Updates via e-mail to inform members of new acquisitions, upcoming events and activities.

Isis-WICCE operates one of the largest women's online documentation centres in Africa. The resources are easily accessible from its website. With over 5,200 publications available ranging from women's human rights to conflict resolution and peace building, and sexual and reproductive health, to name just a few - visitors to the Isis-WICCE website centre have access to relevant and current information on women's human rights issues.

For those who live outside Kampala or cannot access Isis-WICCE's onsite Resource Centre in person, all resource materials, with the exception of films and documentaries, are available on our public access catalogue at http://library.isis.or.ug.
