Isis-WICCE Institute 2011/12
The First Phase of 2011/12 International Exchange Programme will be hosted in Uganda, East Africa, from 14 to 30 November 2011. The theme of the Institute is “Strengthening Women’s Potential in Leadership and Peace Building”.
This year’s institute has 34 women leaders from different professional backgrounds from nine countries in Asia; Pakistan, India and Nepal and Africa; Cote d’Ivoire, Democratic Republic of Congo, Republique Centrafricaine, Tunisie, Uganda and Zimbabwe.
During this residential phase, participants will receive training in three thematic areas. They are: Feminist Approaches to Conflict; Sexual and Reproductive Health and Rights, as well as Research Methods and Documentation of Women’s Realities.
