This week Isis-WICCE is holding a medical camp for women survivors of sexual violence in two sub-counties in Lira district. In Ogur on Monday more than 400 women reported to the health center. Most of these women have experienced different reproductive health complications mostly sustained from war time sexual violence that included gang rapes, use of different objects forced into women’s birth canals by rebels of the Lord’s Resistance Army.
